  1. I forgot to mention that I had the same exact issue before replacing the clutch and DMF, which is why excluded the possibility of it being an issue related to those components.
  2. I also want to mention that this issue generally is independent of which gear I'm in or rpms, maybe that it gets slightly better at really high rpms, as in where I'd be driving 90 mph in fifth or so, then it gets a little better.
  3. Hey guys, I own a 1.6 TDI Octavia w/ the 5-speed manual transmission, with over 120k miles. The issue is, whenever I'm in gear, say crushing at 50 mph in 5th gear @~1500rpm, I'll ease off the throttle and press it down again to speed up slightly, then notice a short-lived, but marked "jerk" to the whole car, along with a clunking noise from somewhere in the front, before the car actually accelerates. This happens the moment I either let off or press the throttle/gas pedal. It's very slight but still noticeable. It sounds like two pieces of metal striking each other, and I can feel the vibrations in my seat. The car accelerates normally otherwise, it just feels like something's not "connecting" right in the transition period of no throttle - to throttle and vice versa, when I let off the throttle there's a slight drag backwards, as if something "disconnecting" if that makes sense. Can't be the clutch as I've just replaced it along with a new DMF (500-600 miles ago). The issue persists. I've asked my mechanic whether it could be the motor mounts but he told me they're in ok condition, probably not the cause. Could it be injectors? Transmission mounts? Any ideas?
