Replaced the pump and still had the issue, grounding, battery and alternator are fine. VCDS is showing the steering me angle and pump voltage pumping all over the place without me even touching the wheel and unplugging the sensor seems to fix the fault but the steering feels very odd.

I’ve just spoken to a garage who said the LHD conversion won’t work as the sensor will read incorrectly

I’ve been watch eBay for a while and all of the used ones that come up seem to have the damaged seal which would lead me to believe they aren’t reliable. I think I’ll struggle to find someone willing to extend the LHD cable even risking that it might not work.

Hello, I’ve got a 6y5 2001 Combi 1.4 mpi which needs a replacement swing angle sensor, which I believe is part number 6Q2423291AX. I have spoken to all local dealers and none of them have stock or can even order the part. Rainworth Skoda are telling me the part supreseeds into 6Q1423291DX which I believe is incorrect as that would be a LHD variant? And they want £200 for that incorrect part. Can anybody help me locate this part?
