Hello guys, we have finally picked up our Octavia RS yesterday. Ordered July 21. I am so happy, I love the car so far. Only shortly driven it, can't wait to take her on longer journeys.

What issues do you have? Now I'm scared that after waiting for so long for the car, it will have annoying software bugs.

Hello guys, my dealer wrote me today that the car has now an engine number, too, and it's expected to arrive at the dealership between the 5th and 9th of September. Let's see... RS TSI, DSG, ordered July 2021

Hello there, I have received a VIN number on our Octavia vRS, ordered in July 2021. The dealer didn't say anything about the car waiting parts.

So... I posted earlier on this forum that we will probably cancel our order. We decided to wait a bit more and yesterday the dealer told us that the status had changed and the car is planned to be built. He estimates that soon we will get a VIN number and told us that based on his experience with the other orders, if the car has all the parts, it will arrive in 4-8 weeks from the moment the care gets a VIN number. I don't know what to believe, though. He only told us that the delivery estimate is now November (before it was December). But he thinks we will get it sooner. Ordered July '21 RS TSI

After reading this forum for a while, I decided to also write my story. We ordered an Octavia RS TSI towards the end of July 2021. The contract said it will take between 30-35 weeks. Our first delivery estimate was around November. Then it got pushed back to end of March, right before the contract ended. When I contacted the dealer in February about the fire at the door panel factory, he said he didn't know anything about it. I suppose he lied. I mean, are they not informed even a few weeks later after such an event? Anyways, at the beginning of March I asked him if the car would come soon. He said it got postponed again, the delivery estimate would be August 2022. We thought we should give up the order, but the dealer said it's a good price, we have so many discounts bla bla bla. So we decided to wait a bit more, to see if we get a production date. I wrote him a few days ago, inquiring about a production date. Guess what, no estimate. And even worse, the delivery date is now December 2022. Lol. I highly doubt this car would come this year. Or ever. I was waiting for so long for this, it's not even fun anymore. I watched so many videos, saw so many Instagram posts, I don't even feel the car is new anymore. We will most probably cancel, this is crazy. I'll just drive my old Fabia till it dies. 😂
