    Last weekend I done my good citizen thing when I drove past an old couple stuck on the side of the road, bonnet up and jump leads. Cut a long storey short the gentleman crossed the battery terminals. Battery is no longer charging, had a multimeter on it drops more with lights on. Had read you could just change the regulator but at 235000 thought may as well replace the unit.
