Issues with adaptive cruise control
Thank you for your post as it's worked. I've gone into the ACC menu and unticked the road sign recognition. I've driven twice with the ACC switched on and had no problems. Okay, it means I have to manually set the speed limit but it's a minor issue in comparison to how the ACC was functioning in the past, which in my opinion was unpredictable and at time dangerous. It is frustrating that when speaking to the service guys at my local dealership they said that the issue is unknown and unique to my car and yet I ask other Skoda owners who have the answer.

Issues with adaptive cruise control
I've owned my Kodiaq for nearly a year now and for the past 9 months I've had problems with the adaptive cruise control that until joining Briskoda I thought was unique to my car. I didn't have problems with my previous Skoda Karoq so is it a problem linked only to Kodiaqs? The issues I've had and continue to have are; Traffic sign recognition - The system mis-reads road signs. Often reads 5s as 8s so when I’m driving along the motorway and there’s a road sign stating to reduce speed to 50mph the system reads, and it’s displayed on the dashboard, as 80 mph therefore if I have the Adaptive Cruise Control switched on the car begins to increase speed. Occasionally converts 60mph into 110kph which cancels the Adaptive Cruise Control Occasionally I switch on the Adaptive Cruise Control the sign in the dashboard states 34mph and won’t change the number so I have to repeatedly switch the Adaptive Cruise Control on and off until the sign informs of the true speed of the road. This happens as I’m driving past road signs. Drive Assist Warning sign flashes on the dashboard to inform the system isn’t working with a bleep noise. This can happen once in a journey or multiple times. This issue occurs in different weathers and different parts of the journey. I’ve attempted without success to stop the flashing sign and bleeping noise by stopping the car, switched off the engine and restarted the engine to continue with my journey and yet it continues. Also, the flashing sign and bleeping occurs whether I driving slowly or quickly or driving on straight roads or going around bends/roundabouts. The Skoda dealership has said it's due to the buttons on the steering wheel so they've ordered another steering wheel. Adaptive Cruise Control When activated and traveling on the motorway, or dual carriageways, the system tells me via information on the dashboard there’s a bend ahead or a roundabout and begins to reduce the speed of the car to 40mph. Issue is that when this occurs there’s never a bend ahead as I’m travelling along a straight road. I’ll be travelling in the middle or outer lane of a motorway and the system will inform me via a warning sign in the dashboard that there’s a car on the left of my car, which there is because I’m on a motorway and I’m overtaking a vehicle on my left traveling at a lower speed, and the system decides to slow my car down so I’m unable to overtake the car on my left. When this occurs I have to cancel the Adaptive Cruise Control so I can take control and over take the car on my left. To add to the above I'm now having problems with the In Car Entertainment system as it's crashed twice and when it occurs a yellow coloured symbol shows on the dashboard with the words SOS next to the symbol. When I touch the screen but nothing happens other than a dotted circular symbol that going round. Does anyone have any advice as the dealership have said that these issues are unique to my car but reading through other reviews on this web site it appears these issues are more common than the dealership is letting on.
