  1. Not as far as I know... touch the door handle is the only way (we've been told)... but happy to be proved wrong. Test on your own car to confirm.
  2. Pretty much yes as you describe. When you lock the car using the key fob, touch to door handle within a few seconds (you will hear a click and the indicators will flash again). At that point the only way to get in the car is using the key fob to unlock... keyless will not work. I'd also suggest use of RFID wallets for BOTH keys just to be even more secure... this will block the keyless signal.
  3. No further update from us... we are still having lock and touch the door handle within a few seconds to "deadlock" the car. This effectively prevents keyless entry, but has to be done every time you lock the car.
  4. That's what I thought as well (like other models), but can't seem to find it, hence asking if anyone has found it.
  5. 9 months of waiting, but our new Scala SE L is finally here, and first impressions are really good. One thing we would prefer to do is disable the keyless entry. We've worked out the "one off" method as per the manual, but has anyone managed to do this permanently, so you have to use the buttons on the key to lock / unlock? Thanks.
