That's exactly what I thought when I saw the sticker, thanks about the DSG service hint, will check that Saturday, regarding the boot side panels I think models before 2018 don't have them, at least I saw more 2017 plates without them. 🤔

Yes, I've been told it was a trade in, and I agree with you, they should only take pictures and put the car on sale after being prepared and cleaned, there's good and bad professionals everywhere I guess....

I'm aware about the mot advisories, the last mot was just the split tyre, so hopefully the others from the previous mot are fixed, but yes you're right, I will have a look at the tyres, discs and pads. Didn't see the car in person yet, was not at the dealership because it's being prepared for sale, will see it and test drive it this Saturday. Just got a phone call from the dealership, they are going to refurb the alloys and because I've put a deposit and have a test drive booked they are giving me the option to choose the colour for the alloys, nice touch that, choosed black.

I understand what you mean about the oil bottle looking bad, but to be honest I do the same, always keep a bottle of oil and screenwash in the boot, in my case it's because I look after the car, check levels on a weekly basis. Regarding the haldex it doesn't need any, it's the fwd. Will check the service history and in the end of its not the right one I will walk away. Just curious about the common faults, every models and engines have some, one's less, other more. 😉

Hi all, I'm Nuno from Manchester and I'm about to pull the trigger on a Superb MK3 2.0 TSI. Noticed the Briskoda sticker on the back window, is the previous owner still around? The car have 44k miles, what should I look for? Is the Superb and this particular engine reliable? Any common faults I should look for? Sorry for all the questions. 😉
