  1. Still cannot believe that it is true, but it is! Delivery date: 2023/04/07 (order date 2021/09/13)
  2. Not sure if I can still believe, but just got a call from my dealer and was told that car is fully built and my Octavia Style 1,5 TSI 110kW mHEV DSG will be delivered next week... So after ordering Sep 2021... moving dates 3 times (Order Sep 2021->first estimate Apr/May 2022 -> estimate update to Oct 2022-> estimate update to Feb 2023 -> estimate update to Apr/May 2023)... it is finally coming true. Still being afraid to be happy and thinking, that something will change and will get a call saying " sorry, we mixed up" or something Fingers crossed 🤞
  3. Still preliminary... I start to believe this conspiracy theory, that Skoda delays such orders like mine hoping I will cancel them... because when they compare current production cost and the price I got when I ordered it in 2021, they see that this order is not profitable anymore.
  4. Let not make this thread only a good news thread just got the update from the delaer - new build week is w16 2023 I am not even sad anymore, just laughing My lifecycle : Order Sep 2021->first estimate Apr/May 2022 -> estimate update to Oct 2022-> estimate update to Feb 2023 -> estimate update to Apr/May 2023 -> and counting... But let's look at the positives, I will not need to buy winter tires only for a month in this winter season
  5. Hard to read when orders that were made like ~half year ago are shipped already when my order (ordered Sep 2021) has not even production date confirmed yet...
  6. In Lithuania I took Kamiq from my dealer (used by the dealer for demo purposes, with 10K km mileage, Dec 2021 first registration), but haven't cancelled my Octavia (currently week5 2023, ordered Sep21) as price is very good from today's perspective for my selected config (I was told that if I order same config today it would be ~3-5K EUR more). Once my Octavia will arrive (and Feb is not yet guaranteed as well), I am planning to sell Kamiq and take the one I ordered. If economic situation will not change, I should not get any big loss, as used car prices are going up every month due to lack of new ones. I visited many other dealers VW, Kia, Hyundai etc. when was considering to cancel my Octavia order and take something that is already available in storage, but all dealers recommended such approach and their clients are acting the same - take something what exists in storage, use it until your order arrives and the sell it and take what you ordered. P.S. Interesting thing what dealer told me that all cars that are in showcase room are the ones that clients ordered, just waiting for them to complete lease documents, arrange finances etc and to be picked up, so in theory if those clients pick up their cars and new ones will not arrive - showcase can become empty with only one small Fabia left. Dealer is really angry at Skoda HQ. They have no trust in the dates they see in the system, there are even cases when confirmed production dates are moved. P.S.S. My dealer would be very happy, if I cancel the order and would give my deposit back right away (1K EUR), because they are pretty sure that they will sell my ordered car quickly and much more expensive.
  7. Just when I was started to get optimistic that my week46 2022 will come true, I was informed that now it is week5 2023... ordered Sep 13th 2021..
  8. What about pHev engines? Are they affected?
  9. Should I assume that if I ordered nonRS Octavia (Style) I can expect less chance for delays?
  10. Statement from other Skoda CZ forum: https://forum.skodahome.cz/topic/157274-dlzka-dodania-novej-octavie/?do=findComment&comment=2579965
  11. Maybe he meant pre-built model from warehouse , not based on specific specs that we select if we order individually. My dealer is Baltieva in Kaunas. Only positive thing from this situation is that price is fixed, whenever the car comes, price will remain as it was in 2021. For example if I ordered the same car today, it would be 2,5-3K EUROs more.
  12. I ordered my new Shoda Octavia in September 2021, at that time delivery times were ~8 months, so expected to get the car ~April/May. However, dealer informed me that due to fire in Mladá Boleslav factory, car delivery will be delayed. They say that fire specifcally affected Octavias. Quoteing the dealer - "I can deliver Superb to you in few months, but with Octavias we have big problems". Does anyone know if Mladá Boleslav factory production is restored or it is still on halt due to fire? At that time (September 2021) there were already chip supply problems, so delivery times were contantly changing. In my order contract they did not put any delivery dates, just and obligation to bring the car as soon as possible, so I cannot cancel the contract without loosing the initial payment. Current week of production is week40 (October), but that is also not guaranteed. I am from Lithuania.
