Hi all, My lazy excuse for a brother has not paid the rent on his flat for the past four months and the landlord finally had enough and contacted my mother to see if she can do anything. The landlord has been OK for now but if he doesn't see any money soon I expect he will want to take it further. My mother was told that given that they don't know where my brother is staying at the moment a summons (should it get that far) will go to her address. She is not a guarantor on the rent so will she be liable for payment of the rent and will the summons affect things like credit ratings etc? Any advice would be great. TIA, Adrian

If an announcement was made that we can't undertake I'm sure most of the middle lane drivers would think about their driving attitude. I must admit that I do "pass on the left" quite a bit but only when I think it is safe to do so and worth my while. Sometimes you can go for miles undertaking tons of cars.

Hi all, I've seen this mentioned in the long list of known issues somewhere on here but the original post had about 150 replies. My alarm seems to be setting itself off frequently recently. It goes off at random times after locking the car. It just went off now at 9.30 after I locked it at 9.00. Other times it has been locked for 4 hours etc. Sometimes it doesn't go off at all. I've tried kicking and rocking the car to set it off but this doesn't work so it can't be a sensitivity issue. Anybody ever had this and know how to rectify it. I think it's beginning to annoy my neighbours when it goes off at one in the morning. Cheers, Ade

I'm confused by this... For a Fabia vRS - At 40K why do you need 2 10K lubrications, a 20K inspection and a 40K inspection? Doesn't the 40K inspection sort all this out? Or is it just accumulating the figures so by 75K you know how much you have spent servicing your car?

I suppose I could express a friendly "Happy St. Georges Day" to all you Ingerleesh. It's a shame that there doesn't seem to be as much celebration as for the Welsh and Irish days (sorry, Scots, don't know what you lot do for yours). Here in Brum they've cancelled the celebrations due to lack of volunteers but they had 30,000 people out for St. Patricks Day last month.
