I have the same problem with my IPhone 7S which happens a lot and has happened a lot in this country over the last two years of my ownership of what is otherwise a superb vehicle. Strangely has never occurred in the three months I was in France last year and this was out in the boonies in the Pyrenees as well so I do not believe it is anything to do with signal hook up. I have reasoned this through already with the local dealership and they cannot replicate or identify any fault. Regardless the Kamiq is going in next week for more investigation. I suspect it is the handshake between the MIB system and the CarPlay software in the phone so I don’t think it matters if it’s Android or IOS…I’ll let you know if I can pin it down more…
