  4. Hi am new here need some help and advice please So I have MK2 2012 1.6TDI Skoda octavia Recently my power steering light came on and was red drove the car and when off then in the morning came back on, got the car scanned and the fault was the power steering rack so I changed the part after part was changed the light when amber got it coded the same day as its an electronic power steering rack and the light when off and was driving fine woke up the next day after its been coded and the red light was again so today I changed it again and still red We have checked all the fused and wiring going to the rack and there all coming up as working we also checked the power steering angle sensor and that is working so we don't understand why the light is red When we coded the car we used a snap-on computer do you think that maybe it because it needs a proper VAGCOM plugging into it Thank in advance guys for your help
