Yes have tried multiple cables. My husbands iPhone works as soon as you plug it in. Not the same for the huawei. It won't even let me select android auto from the menu. Turns out the Bluetooth let's you control the music via steering wheel but would really like Google maps on the display.

Hi all Have just bought a skoda superb 2018 estate. The one thing I really wanted to be able to do is connect my phone to use maps, calls and spotify. Annoyingly my huawei p30 does not work with the android auto even though I have rolled back to an old version. My husbands iPhone works fine with the airplay. Im tempted to get a new phone anyway but which ones work with the android auto play? I dislike apple so want to stick with android. Or have any of you got a huawei to work? I know i can use Bluetooth but I want to be able to control songs via car not the phone.
