Delivery day is upon us! 30th May it has been scheduled for. I was expecting a week or more into June so this is great. SEL Estate PHEV + winter pack.

Just received, out of the blue, the updated lease documents for signing. Glad we stuck to the order, in terms of cost it's a good deal and a damn sight cheaper than most other leases now available. Car is: Brilliant Silver OCTAVIA Estate 1.4TSI IV SE L DSG (Hybrid) Ordered: Sep 21 UK Registration date: 29/05/23 Delivery should be at the beginning of next month barring any delays.

Hybrids are where the biggest delays are. I ordered on the last days of August '21 for a SE L estate and I've got an unconfirmed build week for this summer. "Yes, we have got an estimated date for your car to go into build, finally! It's currently showing August but until the build date is confirmed the dates will move backwards and forwards slightly. At the moment, if it stays in an August build we would hope to see your car come through for October, but hopefully the build date will move forward." If it delivers in October that's 20 months longer than initially quoted and well over two years since the order was put in. Personally I'm in a position where waiting is absolutely fine. It's a 3 year business lease, the costs are well below all the current figures for car leasing and I own a car at the moment which is decent enough.

I can't even recall what wheels would come on it, I ordered in August '21... I didn't add any options so just Brilliant Silver SE L DSG Estate. Comes with enough already on it for us. C30 just sailed through the MOT and it's a nice car so I'm not too fussed right now. I did have to buy the car after my extension on previous lease lapsed. It's no wonder used car prices have shot up.

This was my status from the dealer as of Nov '22: "I'm really sorry to say that we still haven't heard anything from Skoda on your order I'm afraid, it's been accepted by the factory, we just don't have a date as to when it will be going into build." Car is: SKODA OCTAVIA EST 1.4TSI IV SE L DSG in Brilliant Silver Seems the hybrids have the worst of it in terms of delays.

Anybody got their Hybrids yet? 😅 Just wondering, what is the Skoda app that some of you use to keep track or see the status of your car? And what details do you need to get on it?

Contact from the dealer! "Sorry, still no build date." I'm curious if it's made a difference if you ordered with VWFS or from leasing companies. Good news from VW though, parent's Golf R is at the UK port.

Enter me in for 6 months + and likely to reach 1 year+ at this rate. Ordered on 28/08/21 for an Octavia Estate IV SE L DSG in Silver and have heard nothing. Parents have been waiting on a MK8 Golf R since last June, it was confirmed a build week of 23 but no updates since.
