  1. it was the headunit. bought a "new" one from a Superb 2012. and it was working again.
  2. i`ve now checked all wires and they are good. no shorts and the canbus was working. but now the columbus does not read cd`s as it did before. it just starts counting seconds, and nothing else. wont even skip track. i guess the unit is dead. as has happen about 4 times in the cars lifespan.
  3. Hi everyone. i have a 2010 VRS tdi estate with Columbus and amplifier under the driverseat. we had a waterleak from the sunroof unit a cpl of years ago. and after that the sound has been missing. ive replaced the amplifier. and also checked the old one in another car. and it actually worked. but still no music in the speakers. Tried the radio in another car and i also worked there. Has anyone had the same problem? next step if any of you havent had the same problem. will be checking for resistance in cables and checking the canbus if that works. or if there`s some corrotion in the cable harness that has been submerged under the swimminpool we had in the car.
