It's just that really I'd like to be able to just use apps via the head unit, I know I can use my phone via Bluetooth but I'd prefer to just have it all at ease from main screen

Yes I'm interested in maybe buying a new head unit or unlocking the smartkey on the one installed already if possible or worth doing. I like the car my only issue is the stereo is very basic.

Looking to upgrade my stereo on my 2016 MK3 Octavia but really clueless where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached pictures of current system. Looking for some android auto and carplay connectivity. Wad also told to seek the help of @pab567

Hi Im a clueless car owner that could use some help with upgrading my basic headunit to something with something with Android auto and carplay etc on it.. but as I said I'm totally lost in where to even start looking. Any help greatly appreciated.
