  1. Correct part, thank you Breezy_Pete. Access wasn't that bad, I removed the battery tray zip tied a couple of hoses away then I only had to remove one hose, removing the plastic seal and rubber O ring was fiddly but most likely as I was pussyfooting with hoiking them out! Just bleeding the system, got heat in the cab, but the lower hose running down and to the bottom of the rad is cold, still an air pocket there?
  2. Better look for one 🤣
  3. Will do that, looking at it (from my uneducated view 🤣) it looks like the thermostat is there also, just considering changing that while I'm in there, I've had no issues with overheating but just thinking if the sensor has gone the thermostat may follow it shortly, nit sure I want to do the job twice!
  4. Cheers will have to source one of those, I should of guessed it wouldn't of been the easy change I'd seen in the videos!
  5. It could well be the metal bracket, with the hoses still in place it's difficult to see.
  6. Lol, fair point would be just a few more parts than I need!
  7. Thanks Breezy-pete, That looks nothing like the part SES sold me, I'm guessing to get to that some more stripping of hoses is going to be required and a coolant drain! I can see the sensor pictured on my vehicle but it would be a pig to get to! Any chance you can link me that ebay listing if it is for that part?
  8. Thanks roottoot.
  9. Hi all, New to the forum and have an issue with my 60 plate Fabia, temp gauge is stuck on cold, I figured it would be easy to swop the coolant temp sensor to see if that is the culprit, Google searches threw up a couple of good videos and threads on here, however on removing the air Box etc to start the job I cannot for the life of me see the sensor to carry out the change!? Anyone give me a heads up as to where I should be looking on this model, it's not in any of the locations described in previous threads or videos I've seen. Cheers, Freddie.
