  1. Thanks for the reply, I think I will ignore the Sat Nav and use Google maps or my Tom Tom.

  3. New to this site and I’ve had a new Fabia Estate for 7 days now. There was no manual with the car, the dealership has requested one from VW but that could take some months to arrive, his advice was ‘twiddle the buttons and see what happens’. The sat nav is one of the most counterintuitive pieces of kit I’ve ever encountered. The voice is incredibly irritating and road numbers are announced as the A 4 thousand one hundred and twenty three, does anyone know if it’s possible to change these things? Also, can anyone tell me if the sat nav uses real time information to plan or amend routes? I’m beginning to think think I’d be better off using my trusty Tom Tom. what do you think?
