Boot Interior Lights Not Working
Thought I'd post an update on this issue. Took it to the dealership earlier this week and they confirmed that a new boot latch is required which is on order. I'm now waiting for that part to arrive before taking my car in for the part to be fitted. This will likely be several weeks again so they'll be no further updates until then.

Is this saying that slot F50 should have a 30A in the slot?

Boot Interior Lights Not Working
I purchased the car Friday and speaking to a friend from Friday night earlier today he said that he noticed there were no lights in the boot when he went to put some things in there as it was pitch black but didn't give it a 2nd thought. I think its fairly logical to believe the fault was present at the time of purchase in this particular case albeit my word versus theirs.

Boot Interior Lights Not Working
This evening I decided to have a little rummage through the fuse box (just because I was curious). So, using this link: https://fuse-box.info/skoda/skoda-superb-b8-3v-2015-2018-fuse-box-diagram#2017 I used the 2017 image from the page and checked out my own fuse box. Now, correct me if I'm wrong by F50 is empty and according to the mapping, 50 should be the fuse for "Opening the boot lid", now I'm assuming this is referring to the electric opening of the boot? Which I don't have, but its not exactly 100% clear. Its most me hoping for a simple fuse fix but I'd appreciate someone double checking for me.

I should follow that up and clarify, I didn't mean the 14-day cooling off period but meant returning it as unsatisfactory since it was sold with a fault that I was not informed about prior to the sale. That's if it comes to that point. I just really don't want to wait an entire month knowing that should someone break into my car via the boot, there would be no immediate alarm (as far as I know at least) since car thinks the boot is always closed even when its open.

Boot Interior Lights Not Working
This isn't far from the truth. Phone call resulted in them saying they can book the car in for diagnostics on 8th September, a month away. Coincidentally, this takes me out of my 14-day cooling off period where I am unable to return the car for a refund. Its bizarre that on the day of randomly turning up and buying it they could do a full service and 114 safety check on the vehicle in 1 hour but 4 days later it will take 1 month for the vehicle to look at. I've booked it in on the 8th for arguments sake and followed up with an e-mail essentially explaining that if its not seen this week then I shall be returning the car for a full refund and purchasing a similar car elsewhere. We'll see how it goes.

Boot Interior Lights Not Working
Damn, that's the one part that I have no idea on how to resolve/fix. I've seen a few posts about replacing the boot lid button but nothing about the microswitch or a latch. However, as this was only purchased from a dealership last Friday and comes with a 3 month warranty, I'd presume I can give them a call and get it fixed for free.

Okay so all 4 doors show as open on the dash but the boot does not at all. Tried opening manually and via keyfob, no behaviour difference.

I'll test it after work and see if anything shows up on the dashboard and report back.

Boot Interior Lights Not Working
Only bought this Skoda last Friday and noticed the lights issue the other night when opening the boot at night. The 114 safety check they completed at the used car dealership clearly doesn't include checking all lights. I'm assuming the microswitch controls the charging to the detachable torch as well? This doesn't charge whilst placed in its holder in the boot.

Thanks. I've found the manual for my skoda, although I must admit they don't make it clear what fuse relates to the boot lights. Only 2 that I can see that are relevant are: - 27 Xenon headlights, interior lights - 42 Boot lid, headlight washers, windscreen washer system However, given that all other interior lights are working I'm starting to think its not a fuse issue as all other interior lights are working and I doubt "boot lid" has anything to do with the interior lights for the boot.

Boot Interior Lights Not Working
Hi Everyone! New Skoda Superb Hatchback owner here! Picked up a nice 2017 model from a used dealership a few days ago and I only noticed today that the lights inside the boot aren't coming on when the boot opens. All other interior lights in the car, doors and footwells seem to be working correctly. I replaced the bulbs in the interior lights, checked the connections and wiring that I could see and everything there seems to be okay. I then noticed the detachable torch light wasn't working either. I replaced the AAA batteries with new rechargeable batteries and the two LEDs turn on correctly, but when placed back into the boot there is no light. From what I can tell from doing some YouTube research the next two things I should be looking for/checking is the switch in the boot and the fuse. Annoyingly, my car didn't come with the original manual so I have no idea where either item is. I had a quick look in the boot for a switch that activates the lights when the boot opens but can't find one. Then to make matters worse I've found 3 different fuse boxes but have no labelling/mapping to know which fuse box I should be looking and and which fuse is responsible for the lights in the boot. I'm hoping some of you wonderful people here would be able to help point me in the right direction, otherwise I'm looking at a long, long drive back to the dealership and asking them to look into further.
