  1. To close out the thread its working fine, tested by getting someone to wander about behind the car lol
  2. Thanks guys I would have put a pic up but I don't pick the car up until Friday.....I'll let you know what happens....it did pass the MOT with no advisories so thats a start!
  3. Honestly I have no idea but I would think that you would have to let it go, recovery costs alone and then the repair are likely to be more than the car is ever going to be worth IMHO
  4. I have just bought the car above and it has the Bolero head unit, my parking sensors don't look anything like the screenshots I have seen, its more like a bunch of lines behind the car graphic in monochrome, and I don't know if they work, the documentation in the manual refers you to the Radio Manual, which refers you to the vehicle manual, so really useful, anyone tell me if there are any settings for this system? In fact tbh I found the manual confusing and contradictory throughout, on the upside at least a graphic appears when you put it in reverse, it just doesn't seen to react to anything, how close do objects have to be? When I pick the car up on Friday all may become clear or I may back into a low wall.....at least it has a towbar for protection lol.

Hi, I have just bought a high mileage 2012 2l Tdi SE Superb Estate in the weird purple/silver paint finish, it has done 155K miles and had the cam belt and water pump done at 135K miles, I bought it as I needed a car that that was cheaper to run than my 2.5TD pickup and I work away from home so have a 2hr motorway commute....I will be picking the car up at the end of this week!
