  1. So worked out to be the 5 amp fuse in the engine compartment think it's no 9 air conditioner after changing the two fuses in the cabin. Thanks for your help. Luckily a cheap fix on an old but solid car.
  2. No does, not seem to be. Could it be a fuse issue. Worked fine all day and when started up tonight just did not blow, at any setting. Heat is, coming out but a tiny amount. Hope this helps Ken.
  3. Had an issue tonight where the, climatronic system had very little flow on any setting. The temp system seems to adjust and work fine but the high to low settings had no adjustment when increasing or decreasing. Seems to be stuck even though visible the bars on the system move fine and everything appears to work on the control of the system. Any ideas gratefully appreciated.
  4. So decided to rip off part of the undertray while away in Devon. Question is has anybody replaced one with a copy part off ebay and would a fabia one be the same fittings as a roomster.I am sure loads don't have them fitted anymore.Mine only had 4 screws in it anyway.
  5. Problem was the water pump, changed along with cambelt. Looking back to last change water pump only lasted 32000 miles pretty poor compared to other makes I have owned.
  6. So woke up this morning to this. Expansion tank fully drained.Booked in Monday at least you can see the leak. First time it has been obvious.
  7. Thanks so hard to find problem drove 60 miles the other day no issues came out next morning expansion tank empty and no leaks visible under car or engine bay.
  8. Hello pretty sure the water pump is on its, way out due to the last few weeks coolant loss in expansion tank. This is variable. Car is booked in for timing belt and water pump next week needs doing anyway. Question is what is the best make of pump and what to avoid, due to so many VAG group pump failures.
