Chap I spoke with also said they’ve been told not to take any new iV orders

Not sure what my colleague will go for yet but yesterday we were offered a pre-registered Peugeot 3008 PHEV for immediate delivery. BIK isn’t as good as the Skoda (mine was standard, not vRS) but it actually exists as opposed to the pipe dream from Skoda. Not a huge choice if you want an estate/SUV PHEV for a reasonable price at the moment. Narrowed it down to Kia Sportage or the Peugeot and got a good offer for a well-specced 3008 GT so went for that. Mine will have the 39 mile range for 12% BIK but the newer ones have 41 miles for 8% BIK. Not bad for a 300bhp car! I went into a Skoda dealer recently and he told me Skoda is only making retail cars. He’s not seen a UK lease iV go through the system since 2021 and that anyone with a lease order is unlikely to see their cars this year, if at all. I take all car salesman’s “intel” with a pinch of salt but my experience and the info on this thread doesn’t look good.

iV estate lease ordered Sep 21. Another ordered Dec 21. Zero information from then until today when we finally pulled the plug. Completely unacceptable behaviour and I can’t see my company will ever consider another Skoda.

The complete lack of information from Skoda is unacceptable. We ordered some lease cars (Octavia iV estates) in Sep & Dec 2021. Literally zero feedback for when or even if we’ll get the cars. I suspect they’re hoping we cancel so it can be sold/leased to new customers at a higher price.

Similar situation to me. We ordered 2 x IV estate (Sep 21, Dec 21) with no real info other than “unlikely to be this year”. Lease company are honouring the deal but I suspect that’s because a) Skoda is holding their price and b) the 2nd market doing well so the depreciation that was in their lease calcs in 2021 is much better now. Lease co has been calling us with alternative cars but I’m sticking with the IV since the company car tax is almost unbeatable. Did consider the Merc CLA but (ironically) lead times a year ago were too long. Also worth noting the lease co would keep his order on even if we cancelled ours because he has customers crying out for available vehicles.

We have 2 iV on order as company cars 1. Ordered Sep 2021. Estate with a bunch of options (so long ago can’t remember what). Initially told Apr 2022. No info at all from the lease company, this thread has been far more useful than they have! 2. Ordered Jan 2021. Not sure if saloon/estate but no options. So far lease co says Sep/Oct - not sure if that’s build or delivery. Understand the supply issues (general global raw material/shipping, specific door panel and wiring looms) but the communication has been frankly pathetic.
