Does anyone know how to stop unwanted points of interest appearing on the navigation screen on the 2022 Columbus system? No points of interest are ticked in the settings and the local dealership doesn’t know how to fix it. Very annoying as all these weird places keep popping up as I drive from an Airbnb to a children’s day care centre.

Problem solved without any need for building. I normally carry a 3’ x 3’ table to stand the models on at a run. Last weekend as I was loading the car I noticed that the table was close to the height of the rear opening and took up nearly half the boot space. Put my second one in and it looked OK. Then found two old unused timber shelves. Took out the tables, put the two shelves in on anti-slip rubber, put the tables back in and covered them with anti slip rubber. One raised floor made which sits 5mm above the opening. I had purchased a boot liner from a company in New Zealand and that fits nicely over the anti-slip so that on normal days, I have a normal looking boot. Also have 2 tables permanently stored in the car now. Yes you get the lower depths at the bottom like most Superbs, so you have to lean over the rear and lower anything into it. The current Superb no longer has seats which roll forward either, the backs just flop down onto the seat squab. Not a problem with shopping but I carry up to 4 radio controlled frigates which vary from 55” to 67” in length and weigh up to 12 kgs. Not the easiest things to move around but with the variable floor dead simple as they jut slide in

Thanks, I thought that might be the answer. Skoda over here do not offer that as an option. My car came with it from the factory and it was actually a Skoda Australia company car until I got it. I know several other people with a Superb Wagon, all fellow members of my model boat club as they are really useful for carrying long loads. Mine is the only one with the variable floor fitted to it. Strangely, the Passat comes with that floor as standard equipment. A nice idea but currently only one Passat wagon in Oz available to purchase and that is way north of where I live. Per VWA, no more coming in until the MY23 cars start to get delivered. Ditto for Skodas. Looking at the UK website, you seem to get 5 variants of Superb wagon, we get 2, the Style FWD with the 162 engine or the Sportline AWD with the 206 engine. Both have 2 options, a premium pack and, if you get a premium pack, you can get a sunroof. Most of the Style wagons that came in from the June 2022 build came in with both options. DIY floor now on my to do list.

An odd question from Australia regarding the variable floor for a Superb wagon. I have a 2010 car about to be swapped over for a 2022 car. Skoda Australia only imported cars with the variable floor for a couple of years around 2010, so they are not an option these days. As the variable floor has been very useful, I did think of trying to find one at a dealership in the UK but no luck there. Then again, I hate to think of the freight cost of bringing a variable floor from the UK. While looking how to make my own floor, I noticed that both the 2010 model and the 2022 model boot openings are exactly the same width at the rear of the car. 1080mm in both cases. So I wondered, would my old 2010 floor fit into a 2022 car? This is the only place I could think might have an answer. Superb wagons are fairly rare here.
