Hi, I'm wearing my rear tyres down to the wire on the inside in less than 10,000 miles. I've had an inspection which says the alignment is well out on both sides, -5.8 on the left and -4.3 on the right (see attached). The garage said there were no visible signs of damage, and as the rear alignment isn't adjustable they quoted £2.1k to replace the axle, 4 bushes, 2 stub axles, wheel bearings, discs + pads, and 2 tyres. I'm hoping that there is an alternative solution.
I got the car as a Cat N write off due to a car park prang, which might explain why one side is off, but not both? I've looked at other posts on this subject, but my problem seems to be beyond the scope of fixing by shims.
Any suggestions on the best way forward?
Thanks.
