Hi, I'm looking at a 21 plate Kamiq SE L 1.0 11o bhp 10k miles ish. Im used to a TC auto so a DSG would be a first and doing my research pulls up a stack of isses but this seems to be old news. My alternative option is a Pug with a TC EAT8 auto. I prefer the Kamiq but lean to the EAT8 as its a TC so am stuck with my choice. The Kamiq wins hands down bar my worries about a DSG if of course that is a worry anymore.

Hi all hopefully I can get some advice here from people who drive a DSG7. Im hoping to buy a Kamiq with the DSG7. Im aware of the bad past issues with DSG's. That causes some worry as Im planning on keeping the car for probably the rest of its life and dont fancy the said expensive repairs if things go wrong. However, Im sure things have improved as the early faults have been ironed out. So should I worry or are these issues a thing of the past. Your thoughts are much appreciated.
