  1. Thankyou! I saw a hatchback in velvet red last week and although never been into red car, the velvet red with the contrasting black sections looked amazing actually. Things are certainly started getting built more from what I've seen on the forum these past couple of months. Enjoy the car once it arrives
  2. Keep waiting, it'll be worth it in the end, I came so close to ordering something else but wouldn't have been as happy if I had
  3. I finally received my VRS hybrid on Friday 16th June. Amazing car and really happy with it. Ordered in Septermber 2021 with various build dates getting knocked back. Was given a build date of August 23 before it moved forward to actually getting built in May 23. Things are moving, I'm glad I waited as got a fantastic car for a great price in today's economy.
  4. I've finally had an update! Octavia VRS hybrid ordered through leasing company in UK Sept 21. Got an email last in January I had an unconfirmed build date for August 23. I just received an email from leasing company to advise my car has a confirmed build date W/C 24th April and should be with with me start of June. I'm reluctant to be excited as don't want further disappointment. I won't believe it until its in my drive way! I've finally had an update! 5. This is the latest update from the lease company I ordered from way back in Sept 21. VRS IV estate with no extras..... Just a quick update on your order. We chased 4 orders in particular that are still showing as having an unconfirmed build week, one of which is yours. Skoda have advised the following: Skoda have now closed production of the Hybrid engine, which all of the ones you’ve chased are. This is in an attempt to get the ones on order built. They have confirmed that all Hybrids will be built as and when quota becomes available. We hope to have more information during December.
  6. My bad tech skills, was attempting to reply to the above post. 😳 I too ordered through leasing company in Sept 21. My last build date had been scheduled for Aug 22 but was notified that it no longer has a build date so goodness knows when. From reading other comments, around 15 to 16 months for PHEV VRS seems to be the wait time so I'm holding out until around December or January. If I knew there was going to be such a difference in lead times for PHEV models compared to petrol or diesel I would have went for the petrol or diesel model. I checked the price if I was to order the exact car I have ordered with the same leasing company and price has increased from £360 per month (which I will be paying) to £623 per month if I was to order it now.
  7. Hi guys, first time posting on here after following the discussion for months. I ordered the VRS PHEV with no extras in September 2021 through a vehicle leasing company and told initial 19 week lead time from then. Same as everyone else's experience of course it was delayed until May then delayed again until week 34 which was last week for the build date. I contacted the dealer to see if it was getting built on week 34 to then be told it no longer has a build date! After being told this I feel like I have went back the way, even though I wasn't surprised. Admin- feel free to add to the spreadsheet and happy to answer any questions to help.
