Hi, I am trying to get my beloved Skoda Octavia RS through the MOT. I have had it since new in 2002 and now, 261,000 miles on, it is very much part of the family! It has various electrical gremlins all down to the drivers side window mechanism and corrosion in the plug. The parts I am looking for are: IU6959802D Motor IU0971120BG Loom Please see attached for a picture. Any help or advice would be most appreciated. Skoda.pdf

Have owned this car since 2002. Still driving ok even after all those miles but it is deteriorating. Paint is peeling on front bumper and rust spreading on all sills. Does anybody have any ideas on a practical and economical fix? Am very reluctant to scrap it as it's part of the family now, but it's not practical, or indeed possible, for us to spend loads on it and I don't know what to do with it otherwise !!

Hi, yes it is the same Octavia RS and now has 256,000 miles on the clock! It is part of the family so don't want to lose it, but things are starting to need work, so I need some advice and hoping to get this from the forum.
