  2. I know you didn’t reply to me, but as the original poster of the issue. I have had both ecu updated (twice) and a dpf, EGR deleted and the problem still persists, I have now resorted to replacing sensors to see if that fixes it.
  3. I am wondering if this is the location of the crankshaft sensor for my 2014 Octavia MK3 2.0TDI 4x4 with the CKCF engine. Any advice will be greatly received.
  4. I decided to buy the OBDeleven, set up and scanned, came back with 6 fault codes. The first four I’m not so worried about (except the tank lid error). The others are being taken care of. B11F601 - Motor for mirror fold-in Electrical error B126301 - Tank lid unlock activation Electrical error B10A911 - Activation A/C compressor Short circuit to ground C102D00 - Tire pressure warning These two concern me the most. P040100 - Exhaust Gas Recirc.Flow Insufficient Detected P068B00 - ECM/PCM Power Relay De-Energized Performance - Too Late i will do some quick reading, but I fear it’s the EGR valve may need a clean/replacement as well as other components. Any suggestions or threads that might help me on my quest? 😂 Thanks all!
  5. I will check that out today. Thank you.
  6. Thank you for the reply buddy.
  7. Hi All, I have a 2014 2.0TDI 4x4 Octavia III estate. About 140k on the clock. Recently serviced. I have been getting random/intermittent power loss/blip. It feels like someone is pressing/dabbing the brake very quickly. It’s more noticeable at lower speeds than at higher speeds. Happens with cruise control on and off. Accelerating up hill, or cruising on level roads. It’s just appears at random, once maybe twice at a time. So far I’ve put in two tanks of redex. Given it a good belting on the dual carriageway (3/3.5k for about 20mins). Gone to other fuel stations and used their super/premium diesel. Recently been serviced by local garage no fault codes found at that time. When the power drops for that brief moment there are no warning lights on the dash. (However, I’ve had the emissions control light pop on a couple times when going up a hill, no loss in power, but it then disappears the next morning when I start up. Again no fault codes found at the service. I’m not sure if this is useful information or not but doesn’t appear to be connected). Briskoda and Google hasn’t got me anything other than maybe a sticky turbo vane (any thoughts?). I’ve gotten to the point where I’m going to get a cable and plug into a laptop and drive around until it happens again and see what is says. Does anyone have anything I might be able to try in the mean time? I will be very grateful, apologies for the long post, I wanted to be thorough. Cheers all, Pete
  8. Hello Gaz, Thank you. 👍🏻
  9. Hi all, Newcomer with my first Škoda Octavia 4x4 estate, hopefully a nice comfy cruiser for cruising around Scotland, Wales and Europe. Cheers, Pete
