  1. What cars does the fabia VRs share its steering knuckle/wheel hub with. Need a new one and I’m not sure which ones fit
  2. How far can you get with just a stage 1? Celtic tuning claim 180? Anything else that I’m better off doing before the remap?
  3. from my understanding I thought it was 160 standard map and 170 with an intercooler. Is the intercooler the first bottle neck?
  4. I've got a vRS and the boost pipes have packed up so I'm choosing now to remove it. I don't want to be spend ridiculous money, I'm just doing this before a remap. I want to keep the EGR and ASV (I'm going to black and ECU map it out). I'm only wanting to push 170-180bhp. What would anyone recommend. The Darkside seems to be the best but I can't justify 750 quid for it.
  5. cheers mate, managed to order a set
  6. I’ve previously seen people try this and it doesn’t work. I’ve inspected my orings and they are all completely worn. All I want is print sizes O-ring*
  7. As I'm aware of the boost leak issue I'm having and i cant afford a FMIC, I want to just replace the O-rings on the push connector seals. I have found all the possible sizes on skoda-parts.com What sizes will I need and how many of each. I want to avoid having to disassembling the piping twice and measuring it. Cheers (Just to Clarify I have a vRS 1.9TDI BLT) https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/3c0145117f-o-ring-seal-for-the-intercooler-germany-24278.html https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/3c0145117-o-ring-seal-for-the-intercooler-skoda-10589.html https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/3c0145117d-o-ring-seal-for-the-intercooler-germany-oe-producer-10590.html https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/3c0145117b-o-ring-seal-for-the-intercooler-europen-union-oe-producer-31122.html
  8. Turns out handbrake mechanism is realising fine, I think the pads are just severely warn. Managed to get a full set of tyres too so I’ll be doing the brakes (all disks and pads) next payday. is it worth upgrading the brakes whilst I’m replacing the pads and disks?
  9. Also forgot to mention that I'm hoping to replace the head bolts with PD150 bolts and replace the gasket
  10. I've recently bought a vRS '56 reg 106k miles. I have started of with a big clean, full service, new timing belt and and EGR clean. I think next to be done is a new set of tyres. Fronts are worn below 1.6 and rears have plenty of tread but are old. Tempted to put the rears on the front and buy new rears. - Brakes are very worn on the rear and all disks are pitted so will need a full set of disks and pads. Further Repairs needed: - Front Driver window mechanism broken - Rear washer hose major leak - Driver Seat ripped - Small radiator leak - Rust spots on wheel arches, driver door and boot. - Hand brake loose and suspecting not releasing properly causing wear when driving - Details such as badges need replacing - Alloy Refurb Considering upgrades once all problems are sorted: - Stage 1 remap with EGR delete (considering duel eco & sport map) - 312mm Brake upgrade - Poly bushing the sus - Rear ARB - Car Play/BT Radio Any suggestions on good upgrades and where to go for parts will be greatly appreciated. Looking for low cost as I'm an apprentice . Going for a stock look with good bang for buck performance upgrades. Cheers
