  1. I can't work out from your vid if its the same noise as what I had. I
  2. My car was in Skoda yesterday for other work, and they upgraded software on a control module that stops this happening apparently.
  3. Problem resolved today, replaced rear pads and discs. 100% worn and was metal on metal!
  4. Good find and thanks for update! I'm sure will help kodiaq drivers in the future! How do you think the kink was caused? Mine is booked into skoda on Friday to check my noise. (Mine is coming from rear and is now very loud when hitting thr brakes) which is looking like rear disc and pads but we will see.
  5. Did you get any feedback from garage?
  6. Hi, sorry i may have confused things. To clarify, I've not yet taken the car to Skoda yet, but in the past they have tried fobbing be off with other niggles (which I actually solved myself with support from people on this forum!) - hence me wanting to get some guidance on before heading down there. All servicing is up to date (including DSG oil change, 2x Haldex services (including gauze/filter clean), all oil services on time etc..
  7. 2019 Kodiaq 2.0TDI 150bhp DSG 4x4 88,000 miles, full skoda service history and extended warranty. Hi guys, thought I'd post in here to see what your think before going to the dealer and getting fobbed off with "characteristic of the car" Last few days I've noticed what I can only describe as a grinding/squealing type noise. Can start about 20mph, and more pronounced if I turn right or drive straight. Turning left stops the noise, as well as breaking. I've attached a audio clip, hopefully you can hear it. 8. I've also started to have a noise (doesn't sound the same as yours though) Mine is like a rattle between 20 and 30mph. Noise can go if I steer right, but as soon as I steer back left and stay straight it returns. Doesn't do it all the time, usually when it's cold. Sounds like something is loose. Noise will go if I hit breaks (my first thought was brakes grinding).. Also does it if i put into neutral whilst coasting . I've searched forums and main things return are gearbox mount and loose heatshield. Anyway don't want to hijack your thread! But keen to know what yours turns out to be.
  9. Please let us know how you get on with the dealer?
  10. Have you noticed anything different?
  11. Hi mate, is there an update for mine?
  12. I've now drove thr car over 200miles since your fix GMac. And it's looking good! Thank you friend
  13. Hi toot, out of interest, why would revving the engine slightly in park be a bad idea? Not heard that one before. I fixed the noise btw with the kind help of another forum member. (Who I owe a beer). Details in another thread I posted in.
  14. I've just gone out In the dark and tighted the bolts and sprayed the rubber grommets with some silicon lube spray. Started the engine and the noise has gone!!! I'll count my chickens after a test drive tomorrow but its looking good so far!!!! If this fixes the noise..........!! I will be so happy
  15. I went the dealer today and they said the noise is a "characteristic of the engine" LOL If this fixes the noise, I will buy you more than a beer!! I will report back 😁
  16. My kodiaq is doing this. Does yours sound anything like it? Mine is in park and I'm just blipping the throttle
  17. Does anyone else's do this? Any idea what I'd the cause? https://youtube.com/shorts/BUp3V66myz4?feature=share
  18. I got the dtuk power box and pedalbox for my 150tdi. Makes a nice difference to standard. Worth it imo. Not had any dash lights or anything. Run mine on 2+1
