  1. Pretty much my thinking too but its always nice to test your thoughts - thanks for your kind advice
  2. Its a 2017 with 60k on the clock
  3. A well known business in Stoke who major in diagnostics for German vehicles. I suppose I could get a second opinion but from everyone I have spoken to these lads know their stuff and were recommended by someone I trust. I am convinced it is partly to do with the water but what can you do - I hoped it would be ok - I have to go to work Im a professional and saying there was water in the road won't wash (excuse the pun) My worry now is that there will be knock on issues lurking and this car will turn into a lemon
  4. Right - so I have had the Yeti put on a diagnostic. Turns out the DSG gearbox / Flywheel are both worn and need replacing which will relieve me of £1600 I have never heard of anything like that before - I drive very carefully and don't understand it . I have had to drive through water as I live rural - I can only imagine that this has caused some of the issues or certainly not helped. Im absolutely flabbergasted!! Has anyone experienced anything similar or had a similar problem?
  5. Hello Noticed the development of a hissing / rattling sound on my Yeti. It does it when I am in a lower gear needing to change up or if I suddenly go up a bank. Sounds like its coming from the rear of the engine underneath. Thought it was the exhaust at first but it doesn't always do it. Any ideas? Thanks
  6. Hello - I live in Staffordshire and owned a Skoda Yeti for two years. Thought it best to get on a owners club site as I have no plans to change it - best car I have ever had - its very adaptable to all my pursuits with seat removal options etc Also I live on a farm so the clearance is an added bonus although I am thinking of getting some better tyres for the winter road surfaces as I drive on B roads a lot. Was thinking either Winter Tyres or even all terrain. If anyone has done similar would be interested in what you have done. Many Thanks Steve
