Spark plugs not replaced since I bought it. Its a DSG. The smoke is fixed it was a oil leak in turbo and something wrong with the turbo actuator which they replaced. It's just the matter of this rattling metallic sound. When I first start it up it shakes gentle as well. Spark plugs not been changed.

It's vrs tsi 240. I've been to the same mechanic twice to check the timing chain they said it's not that. They mechsnics deal mainly with vw cars. I'm going back to them again on the 17th as they said it might be few different things

Seems like not many people can figure out the sound. Mechanics seems to have an issue as well 😞

Hey everyone i am having trouble diagnose this sound and what it could be. It happens only on cold start for 1 to 2 min it gets louder when im moving slowly on DRIVE, then it stops when rpm goes down. Hello So recently I've been having this weird sound coming up when I'm reversing. It's like a whale 🐋 sound. What could that be ? It happenes most of the time while reversing or turning steering wheel. On this video you can actually hear it twice. Any advice would be great. Hey I just went back to the car and the consumption calculation was set wrong so i changed it to l to 100km, its all good now it shows 6.2 so im happy now :;) thank you for answering

Hey all Today I was driving my brother 90 miles away. I notice my fuel consumption on my petrol e10 is 16.1km/l 37.8mpg. Is this right or too much? Also separate question. As I'm thinking to do stage 1 on my car how much improved mpg do you get please ? Thank you

Haven't checked the tyre pressure since I bought it. I will check on sat. In regards to post number 1 I have checked the link you posted. And also it is on a normal mode, when I switch to sport it gets heavier to turn. I have no warning lights whatsoever it is just my simple gut feeling. It might be worth of mentioning when we had recent temperatures below 0, I heard whining noise while turning. It don't happen any other time apart from when it's freezing cold outside. Does that have something to do with it ? Or that's normal during low temps.? Thanks

My skoda vrs 2019 feels a little stiff while turning the steering wheel. I bought it 5months ago and I could swear it used to be much easier to turn. Is there a way to tell if anything is wrong with it before I call the dealer? Anything I can do to confirm my suspicion? Can't find any topic on this hence Iam posting it.

I've changed the air filter myself the other day it wasn't too bad. I will be in touch with them soon

Hey guys thanks for that I recently bought the csr from a dealer it has 34842 miles. I've tried driving it around but it don't help. So my best option would be to call the dealer for them to look at it.

Hello In the morning when I drive around I can see a white smoke, and it smells like a boiling water also it leaves like a foggy rear window. After driving around some more the water I'm guessing evaporates and it's okay. But on a heavy acceleration it realises quiet bad black smoke which I can see in the rea window. It happens every time when I heavy accelerate on overtake etc. I've changed the air filter it didn't help. Anyone had this issue and managed to fix it ?

Hey I still got this issue it bothers me a lot. I can't figure what it is. So on the first start there is that mettalic sound when raving up only on very low rpm for a bout half a second. As soon I put on drive the metal rattle gets bit louder It sound like there are screws loose, but as soon I drive around or wait for the engine to warm up sound completely dissapears and its not gonna come back till the engine rpm need to go higher to warm up. Please anyone had this issue or have any idea what can it be. It bothers me as you can hear it quiet bad when starting the car. Yeah mainly when it stands for a bit but when I drive it around town etc it's not. Today first start up at 8.30am the noise was there 11.30 start up was doing it again When it have no breaks its all fine.

Hello I have octavia VRS 2019 with 34 000 miles on. This morning I started first time and I heard a metal clacking sound like metal was banging against metal. As soon I start to drive later in a day the sound stops. Any advice on that please or anyone had something similar happening thank you
