  1. Thanks Phoenixboy - that had done the trick. Have to repeat the process at at the start of each journey but that is simple enough and the Assists stay off for each trip,
  2. Hi - I am finding Lane Assist to be unhelpful and a little bit unsafe on my Octavia. I don't like it trying to turn the steering wheel at all! Apart from the roads on which I gather it is intended to be used It is a problem on some of the tight country lanes that I drive in the Yorkshire Dales - it is forever giving me warning sounds and fiddling with my steering wheel - even when I just pull in to a passing space. I can not disable it for a full trip (I can turn it off before I drive away, but when eco turns the engine on and off again after stops at lights or hill starts etc it comes back on again. Is there any way I can disable Lane Assistance permanently? I appreciate that it is presented as a a Safety Aid that is EU recommended now - but personally I find it neither safe nor helpful. I also think its use should be at the discretion of the drive. Ditto Front Assist. Anyone found a way to disable these Assists for a full trip (including eco stops)/permanently?
