  1. I have a 2 year warranty on my skoda and the battery was failing after heavy rains. I phoned skoda assist to see whether this was covered under my warranty. They said yes and had it towed to the nearest skoda dealership - they diagnosed that it was infact the battery and that it would cost €420 and that wasn't under warranty. I said I was told by skoda assist it was .... they went off to check and came back and said yes it was so fine yes go ahead with the work - one week later and I still dont have my car and they are now saying again that it isnt under warranty. At this point I said I would just take back my car but they still want to then charge €270 for the diagnostics. The manager has been too busy to speak to me all week !!! I feel completely scammed by skoda assist and the Annesley Williams skoda dealership. My local garage gave me a quote of €230 for the work and parts with a 3 hour turn around - utterly disappointed with Skoda - great car but terrible scam service
