Hi,
i have 2012 year Skoda Roomster 1.2 TSI 77kw, CBZB, 166 000km in odometer. I have owned this car for three months and driven about 4000 km
This happens randomly. when I accelerate strongly by pressing the gas pedal to the bottom, the car jerks once and it feels like half of the power is lost, I can barely get to 80 km/h. when I restart the engine everything works normally. The first time that problem happened i thought the turbo stopped working. It seems that this happens with a cold or semi-cold engine, it doesn't happen when it's warm.
The car didn't indicate a fault light, but my friend and I looked at the data through the OBD port and the fault codes showed up: P008700 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low, P019100 - Fuel Pressure Sensor Implausible Signal and P156400 - Throttle Actuator: Undervoltage During Basic Setup. The fault codes were cleared, and I followed to see if the same problem occurs again, the same thing happened again randomly, also randomly the engine fault light stayed on when I started the car and after driving a longer distance it didn't come on anymore when I started the car the next time.
First aid for those error codes, we added "Forté Advanced Fuel System Cleaner 400 ml" to the fuel tank, it is a professional level substance that car repair shops also use, but the error codes come again.
P156400 error code disappeared when we replaced a new battery. (the previous battery was original and, according to the tester, in poor condition)
last week I bought and replaced new spark plugs, the old ones were rusty.
idling is normal, fuel consumption is normal, the engine starts normally, when driving the engine runs normally.
I doubt that the remaining options are fuel filter or fuel pump?
