  1. Hey there, greetings from Lithuania. Since I bought my new Skoda Karoq facelift 1.5 TSI DSG in late 2023 I had this road and booming noise a as companion in every single ride, which I thought is coming from the tyres or the suspension. However, after visiting the dealer, the outcome was that there is nothing wrong with the suspension itself and the tyres are brand new OEM Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance. I tried to put some sound and vibration deadening materials on the boot floor right below the space saver wheel - it did not work and I did not notice any improvement. However, what I have noticed, that the similar booming noise was coming from the boot electric tailgate when it was closing and contacting the metal hook at the end of closing and there was this boom noise. I added some sound deadening material on the metal hook, the tailgate started to close with a more solid sound and as a result the ride itself improved. I do not feel or hear any booming sound while driving and it really improved my driving experience. I also did notice the difference in how electric tailgate closed on 2021 year Skoda Karoq model, which my parents bought earlier and they did not face issues with the car, nor booming, their electric tailgate closes quietly, so if you experience something similar, please check your boot. Hope this solution can also help others.
