HI Softscoop, Many thanks for you post yes manual gearbox, how would you know if that was the cause as this is an expensive item to replace only to find out that it hasn't resolved it

HI there Does anyone have or has had an issue when excellerating the engine quickly revs an extra 300-400 then drops back below before starting to climb again? almost sounds and feels like an automatic gear change. More noticeable changing from 3-4 at just under 3000 revs jumps over 4 then back down. I have tried all the different draining modes eco, normal or sport all the same I'd appreciate any feedback as its cost a fortune and no one seems to be able to pinpoint it 2l Superb Elegance 4x4 many thanks mike
