Hello, I was wondering if anybody has had problems with their Skoda Octavia estate regarding having to have the turbo replaced? EPC and engine light (both amber) came on with some loss of power to the car when driving. Took it the dealership for diagnostics to be told that the Turbo had to be replaced due to corrosion. The car is 69 plate with average miles, has had services when required by the dealership and is well looked after. As the car is out of warranty Skoda have only given 10% off the cost of replacement. The customer assistant I have been dealing with at the dealership has been to Skoda factory and Skoda care to see if they can apply any goodwill be neither have offered. Has anybody else had similar problems or have any advice that might help me to reduce my bill? The work has already been carried out but hoping to argue my case further on pick up. Thanks in advance.
