my roomster 3 goes in the garage no problem

i would imagine that the height will be about the same, as the roomster 3 with 16" wheels runs on low profile tyres! i think they are a 45 profile

its now been three weeks with the new pedal and all seems to be ok, no re-occurrence of the problem.:thumbup:

My roomster 3 on a 07 plate came with michelins from the dealer when we picked it up new! i know they are pricey but i've not had any sort of grip problems with them in 25,000m and will be replacing them with the same

had the new throttle pedal fitted yesterday and although we have not done that many miles the high tickover / run on has not occurred, so it looks like it must be the sensor in the fly by wire system:)

having been in my local dealer recently i enquired about the cost of a cam belt change on my roomster 1.9tdi, and was advised that the interval was 4year/80,000m. But i'm sure that i have seen some where that the interval was changed to 4year/40,000m! this is a big differance, does anyone have the definative answer on this?

as soon as i explained the problem to the dealer he said "sensor in throttle pedal" and orderd a replacement on the spot, " not seen this in a roomster before, but we have had a few fabias do this" this seeemed to be a problem thay they were quite aware of, car is going in on tues for the replacment.

i've decided that i'm going to take it in this afternoon and we'll see what they have to say! i'll put the answer on here

often when i start the roomster 1.9 TDI it shoots up to 1500ish rpm for no reason. this is not temperature dependent, and the tickover will drop to normal levels upon touching the accelarator. it will some times do this as you are slowing for a junction as well and it's not too nice. this has been happening for a while, it began very sparodicaly but its rate of occurance is increrasing! any one got any ideas:confused::confused::confused::confused:

i had mine done with the film by a local company cost £200 for everything from the B pillar back plus a strip across the windscreen and some clear on the bumper to stop the dog from scratching it, the finish on the film that good that you cannot tell it was done that way!

i'm glad it worked for you aubrey. i'll be doing the same again when i go to the alps next week, you can adjust the headlights on the octavia II in the same way

down on Romney Marsh where i am there is at least half a dozen about + i've seen four of the felicia funs about down here

with toilet training try and use some common. ie when the pup wakes up it will need to go, when it has eaten or drunk it will need to go (it's body is too small to store waste!), watch for indicators from the pup eg circling etc. do not use negative training, it's no good telling it off unless you catch it physically in the act, any later and it will have forgotten (you cannot explain stuff to a dog). give the pup mega praise when it is going in the correct place be that the pads or out side, a dog will only do an action that has a desired result! yours shouldn't get as big as mine!:)

i spoke to my local dealer down here in Kent when i was taking my Roomster in for a service this week and he told me that the estate will be on sale Jan/Feb! he then proceeded to show me one of the artist impressions he had stuck on the wall.:confused::confused::confused:

you can adjust the beam on a roomster to a flat setting which is allowed for use on the continent in a holiday situation, i did it last year. i am trying to remember how to do this as the wife has the car at work. i seem to remember that if you remove the rubber cover off the back if the headlight (where you access bulb) that there was a leaver that changed the setting to the flat pattern, i used my garage door to check this and it transpired that my roomster was already on the flat setting when it was supplied! this is only a five minute job no hassle.

i've got the backend tinted up to the B pillar, because i have the big dog in the back and it makes life more bearable for him. it's got the darkest i could get with a sun strip on the front. looks OK.

it also shows up on the display if the boot is not closed properly, not sure on the alarm though, i always stop before i get up enough speed (got to stop the dog falling out!)

sounds nice, it has to be an option!

i regularly ave 56/57 on longish runs in my 1.9 roomster3 with a passenger some luggage and a newf (and he's 13 stone)in the back, this is using the cruise control as much as possible at around the legal limit. i can regularly get into the 60's if i try!

i've just done 1800m in 8 days in an 1.9 including 800m of Autobahn work and the 1.9 has had no problems in keeping up with the flow on the German roads, it will hold a steady 95 ish no problem, it's somthing to consider if relevant.

Having looked at the Octavia 2 with its flat setting i have now established that on a Roomster 3 and probably on a new furby that all you have to do is tweak a leaver that is behind the rubber cover on the back of the headlamp unit, in fact i did not have to move mine as they were already flat when i picked it up! its a big old leaver on the drivers side of each headlamp unit!

can you give us some details on the re-map pls
