Many thanks for the quick response. 👍 I suppose the easiest way will be to hardwire the switched +12V to the radio, if that's available on the harness. I'll have a look to it then. Cheers

How do I know if my radio is pre-lift or post-lift? I'm replacing a dance radio on a fabia mk2 from 2009 by a swing radio from a fabia mk2 from 2014. It works with the code but doesn't switch on or off with the ignition key. I need to use the radio's power switch. What do you mean with "need do "marry" new unit with VCDS"? How can I do that? Thanks
