it was fine until it packed in? Cant really tell how hot/cold its getting as its not blowing anything through :S

always use Tesco or Sainsbury's to be honest, no difference.. its all mind games if your testing it id say your looking for fault! we use Tesco Momentum in the other 2 car's which is RON99 where as most others are only RON97/98 and is cheaper than normal unleaded from Shell/BP etc.. If you ask me, Your just paying for the name so to speak!!

Our Fan stopped and we have replaced the resistor and this did not help our problem, i've stripped it down had the fan off and it does work but needs help to start spinning so i'm thinking it needs a new heater blower itself. the part number on ours is 6Q2820015G but i have managed to source one that's 6Q2820015E is there any difference? Every now and then we used to start the car and the steering would be a little on the heavy side for about 30 seconds. Now gone to start the car this morning and basically it was dead, managed to jump it to get it started, 1st click away it goes but the steering was heavy and the light was on the dash.? i've heard of it being a problem with power and just wondering if it would be the battery thats doing it? as when the car was stopped it needed jumping again. everything seems to be where it should just wont start unless jumped. Thanks For looking!

right it finally gave up altogether so i changed the heater resistor a bit fiddly but got there in the end and still no heater at all.. its just nit working on any of the settings anymore.. Any Ideas? Thanks Mark

well the heater is not blowing at all, it started a few weeks ago just after we had the clutch replaced. Now it started 1 & 2 werent blowing any air through at all, 3 & 4 were working but not as they should more like position 1 & 2 but when car was put into reverse they starting blowing faster?? now they have all stopped working alltogether? Anyone any ideas at all or similar problems?? Thanks

£34 isnt to bad for the part, knew it would be a box out job though.. So does that mean it will need a new clutch/flywheel aswell as bearing? :no: because as stated above it had a new one around 20k ago

to be fair he didnt state the age of the 3.0 diesel BMW.. maybe an older 1? lol ohh and i also drive a BMW 320 SE 150bhp model... and the fabia standard is definately faster than that!

Right, the car has started to make funny noises, 1st one i noticed is when the clutch pedal is pushed in there's a kinda clicking noise and you can feel it on the clutch pedal but its fine at the biting point though??, and the 2nd noise is when the car is slowing down without pushing any pedals just letting it off the accelarator theres a strange noise hard to explain but its like something catching, but when the clutch is pressed the noise goes, then the clicking noise starts again? hope that made sense, car seems to drive spot on still and these noises cant be heard at any other time The car is a 04 Fabia vRS. it did have a new clutch and flywheel put in due to a faul with the flywheel around 20,000 miles ago, car has done 108,000 altogether Thanks, Mark

the one you wanna be watching out for is the Light Brown/Goldy coloured Renualt Scenic.. seen it over on the A66 right next to teeside park all the lights going, pulled a Corsa..

My vrs will be showing 100,000 miles by the end of september and its still going strong, only problem weve had with it since we got it was the Flywheel was shot and was replaced under warranty along with the clutch about 3000 miles ago, and just a few common faults like turbo pipe popping off and rear wash pipe other than that its great!! Ohh and it an 04 plate and it gets serviced regulary

most ive done would be just over 600 miles out of one tank, how did u get 55 litres in? my tank fully empty will only go to around 48-50 litres.. :|
