  1. Thanks Binx - appreciate it.
  2. Thanks UndertheRadar: Battery is showing 12.4 before start, 13.4 when engine running. A quick google suggests this is low, but maybe not catastrophically so?
  3. Hello all. Have taken my 2016 1.4 TSI in to local garage today for diagnostics after encountering some odd issues - all struck as me as potentially interrelated. Was manifesting as: driving along, aircon on - Console screen suddenly reads “Park Pilot is not available” for about a second or two. Aircon turns itself off (AC light out). Dash temperature display was not reading anything (dashed out). Tyre pressure monitoring system error pings up. All of this would then stop, aircon would be able to switch back on, carry on as before. Then happen again, sometimes within twenty seconds, sometimes in an hour. Garage has said they can only tell me the codes and what they are, rather than interpreting - so I figured I’d ask here to see if anyone could shed any light, or had something similar? Codes are: P060C00 (Internal Control Module Main Processor Performance) P007000 (Ambient Air Temperature Sensor circuit.) U112300 (Databus Error Value Received.) B103F1B (Outside Temperature Sensor, Resistance Too High.) C110300 (Adaptive Cruise Control Sensor - Misadjusted - I knew this one would be there as was previously diagnosed) U111000 (Function Restriction Due To Communication Interruption.) B10AF04 (Air Quality Sensor - Faulty) Any advice/suggestions very welcome, please! Cheers
  4. Thanks for responding - a good question. I don't know - I haven't changed it since I bought the car, mid-last year. I haven't had anything else that would indicate a dodgy battery though. Mfr date by negative terminal?
  5. Hello All, First time poster in this particular forum, and first time Skoda owner! Hoping for advice if any is possibly forthcoming please. Have a recurring issue with the seemingly dreaded TPMS warning lights, with what I think is a related issue. Situation happens as follows: driving merrily along (generally) A roads, main cabin display comes up with "Parking pilot unavailable to be used" (or something like that, can't recall exact wording). I'll then (within five seconds) have the outside temperature sensor reading go blank - dashed out - and a ping from the TPMS, which then clears after maybe two to four minutes. I should add that I've previously had multiple TPMS warnings, which have cleared with a pressure check and a reset. I've also currently got a yellow warning light for the front anticollision alert system, for which I took the motor to a local garage, who said the radar unit required calibration. Driven it for maybe a month and a half since then with the light on, while I gather the motivation to go to specialist for recal, and I now have cruise control inop. white warning on the dash. Not sure whether these are all connected, so I guess I'm after any correlation/experience with similar issues/the price of fish? Have seen other posters related experience with TPMS and associated ABS sensor issues; this was going to be my next point of attack with local garage. Any help or advice appreciated!

This is superb - thank you. I think anaemic doesn’t really cover the Panda! More of a tired brick than anything else.

Oh damn. Maybe I need to re-set my sights a bit lower. Thanks for feedback, in any case - appreciate it.

Noooooooo! This not what I want to hear! I've been considering the 1.8 because I figured I'd want the poke of the bigger engine...is the 1.4 TSI a bit anaemic? Bearing in mind I'd be coming into this from a 1.2 Panda! Thank you for the feedback in any eventuality; it's much appreciated.

    Interesting reads - thank you!
  10. Hi, very much a newbie here…just after some pointers to look for, please, as I’m considering purchasing a Yeti, preferably L & K, in the 1.8 TSI range. Thus far I’ve not done a huge amount of research, but thought I’d try and gain some feedback from those who know a great deal more than myself about these cars! Any advice welcome. Many thanks in advance.
