Hi, I had to buy this kit, or similar from my local VW dealer https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/6v0198406-clutch-kit-1-4tdi-skoda-41794.html This one is cheaper https://www.oemvwshop.com/6c0198105a-repair-kit-for-dual-mass-flywheel-audi-vw-skoda-seat-diesel-engines-p2902464/ looks like same thing ? or maybe contact darksidedevelopment in UK.

So basically, what I have found out after some research : The only way to fix this issuse now (by the main dealer) is to get the "6V0198406" clutch kit, that includes SMF-flywheel, clutch + new driveshaft. price 2000EUR with fitting. Cars manufactured before november 2015 has the 04B105269A flywheel. the only replacement aftermarket I've found is the "VAICO V10-6532" it's supposed to be a DMF but when looking at the pictures it looks like a SMF ?? anyone bought and installed this flywheel that can tell me ? My question now is : do anyone know what the difference is between 04B105269A pre 11/2015, and 04B105269 post 11/2015 flywheels ? SACHS has a smf for around 150 EUR part no 3021 600 295. OE 04B105269 Can i use this flywheel event tho i got the 04B105269A version in my car. or can anyone link me a flywheel that will fit ? trying to get away cheaper than 2000EUR.. Any suggestions what I should do ?

Hi, I've got the same problem with my 1.4 tdi fabia. my dealer also wants 2000 EUR for the same kit + 5 hours labour. how much did you end up paying ?

to be fully clear it's a fabia estate, 1.4 tdi, 105 hp CUTA engine, manual transmission.

Hello! Can anyone tell me what the difference is between 1.4 tdis that were built before and after november /2015. I'm curious because I might need a new DMF, my car is manufactured in april 2015.
