Hi chaps. I have a 1z3 2011 facelift Octavia VRS tdi cr. It has 60k on clock I have owned from new never had any problems. Goes to main dealer for not and service. 2 days before Christmas it refused to start RAC came out said was the battery I bought a new one fitted it and no change. The dash lights up turn the key and not even a click. So RAC came back out diagnosed it and the ECU was not communicating so the car was taken to the dealership who said it was the ECU after changing fuses and relays as there diagnostics machine was showing none communication. The car was recovered to my house I tried both my autel and snap on diagnostic machines both full up to date with all compliant vag software and yep you guessed it none communication of ecm.. so stripped the bulk head removed the ECU sent it away fully tested and working no issues.. so I'm back to square one now.. any suggestion will be much appreciated as I don't want to loose the car to the scrapper
