  1. I have Thule roof bars and two bike carriers. They are great - bought from Car Roof Boxes | Bike Racks | Roof Bars - The Roof Box Company Originally they were on my old Audi A3 but I bought a new foot pack which meant I could put them on the Superb. Sold the old foot pack on eBay.
  2. Hi all I recently had my 2021 Skoda Superb's first MOT via a main dealer (at the same time as having the heat protection mat recall done). It passed the MOT but had an advisory as follows: Front Lower Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement both side (5.3.4 (a) (i)) The service manager was quick to reassure me that "they do see it" and that it is nothing to worry about. He also said it would not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty (which has a month to run). The car drives fine and there is no knocking. So I am not especially worried and I can also understand that bushes might be classed as wear and tear item and therefore not covered by warranty but, equally, when the car is only 3 years old and has only done 24,000 miles, it does seem premature. I suppose I will just leave it for now and see if it crops up again next time around but wanted to see if anyone has any thoughts or experience on this?
  3. @travsjust saw you are in surbiton too - look out for a Superb Estate Sportline in business grey!
  4. Well we did a pretty decent drive at the weekend and thankfully no SOS or other faults to report. This morning (-5 degrees) the ice played havoc with the parking sensors but i guess that is normal and anyway it was more the than compensated for by the luxury of the heated seats and steering wheel. Now I just need to try and set up my user profile...
  5. So far so good although only driven locally to work so far. Will be driving further at the weekend including around part of the M25 which will be a better test.
  6. Update - my car is being driven back to me today by the dealer having had its software update. I am told it is all fixed so fingers crossed. I've had a basic spec Karoq courtesy car for the past few days which is good although in my view not as nice as the Superb. To be fair to the dealership since the service manager (rather than the sales person) has been involved they have been good to deal with.
  7. Thanks. I'll ask the question but I am going to leave the choice of software version to the dealer.
  8. Hi I am the OP (although using a different account for reason I won't bore you with). Thanks all for the replies. I am dropping the car at the supplying dealer tomorrow for its software update. It should be ready early next week. I am going to make it clear that it is my preference for the dealer to repair the car but if the the fix is not sucessful I may look to reject the car. It does seem that there is a mixed experience with some cars being fixed easily and others having ongoing issues. I was told by the dealer that the car could not be rejected because of a software issue so no doubt I would have a dispute on my hands if I choose to do that. I am hopeful the software update will fix it but if not I really don't see why I should put up with this problem when I have just spent over £30k. After all my 2016 Audi A3 which I am in the process of selling has never put a foot wrong. I'll let you know what happens with it.
