  1. We did, it’s no that kind of noise I don’t think. I got the last one checked and forked out for a bearing and the effing thing made the same noise first time out on a M-way 😂
  2. Sorry Gaz, seems to go up and down uniformly with speed and no apparent change on cornering. Hard to hear on side or A roads. The missus could hear it yesterday so it’s no just my rubbish ears!
  3. Thanks both. As I said I had a diesel and it did a similar, but more obvious, thing. Replaced it with a 245 and it ran sweet, no noise. That one got killed by a fish van and now this one is making a similar noise. You need to get onto a motorway to hear it and it’s like a background drone. I don’t think it’s wind noise (emphasis on think) but I’ll get into the FSH. I’ve flagged it wi AC and I’ll see what happens. Cheers again
  4. Hi toot, cheers. It’s only just passed 23k, should’ve said it was a DSG too. As far as the history is concerned I can’t put eyes on it right now!
  5. Hi folks, new member, just got a 2019 245 Vrs Challenge, few things need sorting (it was Arnold Clark, don't judge me!) but there's a worrying whining noise that seems to begin around 60 mph. I had a similar noise with a previous 2016 diesel Vrs, never really got to the bottom of it, I just traded in eventually. Anyone got any ideas??
