Hello all, New here and new to Skoda. I'm in the market for a new (to me car). I'm looking at a Skoda Octavia 2.0 TFSI VRS. It has a FSH and has 83k on the clock. It has passed all MOT's with few advisories. I'm just wondering if there are any specific issues to look out for. Having browsed this forum, it seems the Chain/Tensioner is an issue on these cars. I do not think this has been replaced, is it worth booking it in to get it updated as soon as I purchase it. Also, what is it that I need to buy exactly. (I'm not overly confident with cars/parts). Is there a specific item code for example or description as I don't know if these things are generic. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you To add, it is a 2007 plate Octavia VRS.
