Bap33, I watched a video about changing the battery on a Superb and it showed the bracket. I can't see a bracket on my Kodiaq. I can only see a bolt which is in the metal, in front of the battery. The bolt is sprayed silver like the car. I going to remove the black insulation sleeve from around the battery.

I need to replace the battery on my 2.0l TSI petrol Kodiaq. Having removed the battery leads, it's obvious that the battery is fastened in securely. The only obvious bolt, is the one just in front of the battery, but it doesn't appear to be attached to a clamp. I would like to know if this bolt secures a hidden clamp, before I slacken it off. Please can someone tell how the battery is secured in place?

Thanks for your reply. I googled the Skoda Kodiaq virtual cockpit and found out about the button on the righthand side of the steering wheel. Without pressing that button, the onscreen display was frozen. I hope the display I have selected, will remain in place.

I always have the virtual cockpit on my dashboard set to ''View 1'', which is the second option of four on the list. Yesterday, it changed itself to a view of a compass, with the mountain image to the left and the north arrow to the right. When I select the list of options for the display and press the appropriate button, nothing happens. I am unable to change the display from the compass. Has anyone else had this problem?
