    Got a gearbox with 54,000 miles on it and it goes in on Monday. Thank you all for your help and replies. It will be good to have the trusty Fabia on the road again.

    Hello, I have a 2009 Fabia since new doing roughly 8,000 a year and now with 124,000 on the clock. The gearbox requires major work or replacement that would probably cost £500 to £600. Is this worth doing considering the miles of the car? Thank you very much
