  1. Hi guys Skoda Fabia greenline 1.2 TDI 14 plate. Am I right in thinking aslong as the inlet manifold has been blanked and the exhaust manifold, you don't have to do the egr cooler bypass ?.
  2. What was it they was supposed to do. They told me all was required was to put a blanking plate in and mapped some lights out. It's a Skoda greenline 1.2. I've seen videos on YouTube where they removes something and put some pipe in place is it a similar process to mine
  3. Hi, me personally did nothing it was a garage that did the egr delete. As far as I'm aware they used a blanking plate and mapped it out.
  4. Hi guys Skoda Fabia greenline 1.2 TDI 14 plate. Just recently had a egr delete and had it mapped out. Just it out for its first drive today since having it done now I'm losing coolant and pretty quickly. Could this be related ?? Seems to be coming from near the oil filter housing if this helps.
  5. Varooom, thankyou for taking your time to respond. I've changed the fuel filter, the fuel pump seems to be working fine and I have checked pipework so I'm with you on that one I don't believe it's the fuel side of thing either. As for the air side I unplugged the O2 sensor and tried starting the car that made no difference, disconnected the air intake pipe that made no difference. Disconnected the MAF sensor that made no change, the only thing where I actually got a reaction out of the car was when I unplugged the turbo boost sensor it allowed the car to run. Not great obviously soon as I plugged it back in again the car then started to no longer idle and cut out instantly when trying to apply throttle. The orignal code I got when plugged into the diagnostics was egr but as you know it could be everything related. Egr valve opened and closed no problem and soot levels in the system was only 9.
  6. Forgot to mention. Skoda Fabia greenline 1.2 TDI. 14 plate.
  7. Was driving along at 60 mph car started to judder pulled over. Limited revs too 1500 car would idle for 10 seconds then cut out. If I tried to apply accelerator it would instantly cut out. Had a diagnostics done showed something relating to the egr. Ran test egr opened and closed and soot levels was 9. Disconnect intake, O2 sensor, maf sensor etc car still wouldn't idle for no more then 10 second without cutting out. I did how ever unplug the turbo boost sensor which in then allows the car to idle and accelerate obviously running badly and limited to revs. Turbo is fine, not large amounts of smoke or no signs of oil on the engine area. Any idea are welcome as I've tried 3 garages all haven't a clue tbh. Thankyou.
