    Almost definitely the water pump. Common fault (my 2.0 4x4 included). Just ask Google & you'll see!

    Hi all, Help please! I have a 2018 Kodiaq. I have an orange warning light on dash / audible warning that the factory fitted retractable tow bar is not locked. The tow bar operates and locks perfectly well, there are no functional problems other than the warning itself. I have checked the fuses and electrical connections, all seem OK. I suspect a sensor failure or an electrical gremlin. Main dealer advises to change the whole system for the princely sum of 2.5k! Surely this must be something simple? Ideas welcome! Many thanks
